As the time to return to school quickly approaches, preparations are being made for the new year. What will be new and different this year? What will be the same as in previous grades? Which activities and lessons done by previous BRAPAAS6 classes will be repeated this year, and how will they be modified to make them better? Will we blog? Will we participate in project based learning? Will we.....? All of these questions are running through my head on a daily basis as I start to panic about running out of time.
Yes, I realize that there is almost a month left before school starts, but that doesn't mean there's enough time left. There is so much to do and so little time to do it in! (Why do I have a sudden picture of Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka running through my head?) This week, I will be going to school to decorate our room, which means it's time to think about our theme for the year. I have decided that we will use black and grey backgrounds with black and white borders. We will add red, blue, and/or yellow as our accent colors. But that's where the decisions I have made end. The class needs to have input into our overarching theme. If you have ideas, send them to me in a direct post on Edmodo, or through the contact page here. I am looking forward to hearing your ideas!
